Moment Of Surrender

"My moment of surrender was not met with peace and compliance but with fear and then anger. It surprised me how quick my fear turned to anger. I started verbally attacking those who were trying to help me and threatening no change at all. Luckily, no one believed my insults to be more than a saving-face-chicken-shit-try-to-justify-drinking-keep-people-away-tantrum. I was sober the next day but the anger lingered for awhile." - K
